PM Modi said, “These people have made hostility towards India the way of their politics. Whether the 9/11 attack in America or the 26/11 attack in Mumbai, the world knows where its conspirators are found.
Houston| The stage set for ‘Howdy Modi’ event in Houston brought a warning sign to Pakistan ahead of the UNGA session in New York. Addressing the mega event Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sly dig at the neighbouring country without naming it. He told US President Donald Trump that those who are unable to manage their own country, are facing difficulty in India’s big decision on Kashmir (abolition of Article 370).
Modi said, “It is time for a decisive fight against terrorism and I want to emphasize that Trump is standing with us in this fight.” His statement supporting Trump was met with loud applause from the people present at the stadium. Earlier, Trump also called for fighting terrorism together by calling radical Islamic terrorism the greatest threat to the world and insisting that India and the United States have the right to take every step to protect their borders.
PM Modi said, “These people have made hostility towards India the way of their politics. Whether the 9/11 attack in America or the 26/11 attack in Mumbai, the world knows where its conspirators are found. The identity of such people is known not only by you, but the whole world.” Modi appealed to fight terrorism together and also thanked the US for this direction.
More than 50,000 Indian Americans had gathered at the event held at NRG Stadium here. The event was hosted by Indian diaspora. Modi himself welcomed US President Donald Trump and took him to the stage. Modi said that every person in this world knows Trump. His name is included in political discussions in any corner of the world. After this, Trump also thanked Modi and praised Modi’s contribution towards the development of India.
