Pakistan PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi allegedly stripped at US airport, Twitterati call it a ‘Karma’

It is said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was made to go through a security check before entering the nation.

In the biggest embarrassment ever for Pakistan, the country’s Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was allegedly made to strip down at an airport in the United States. A video has surfaced on the internet which was also aired on some Pakistani news channels claiming that the man in the video is Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. In the video which is doing rounds on several social media sites, it can be seen that the man is putting his clothes back on.

The video allegedly has been recorded at John F. Kennedy airport in New York. It is said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was made to go through a security check before entering the nation. The video soon went viral triggering widespread anger in Pakistani citizens over the treatment meted out to the Prime Minister of their country.

The video has come at a time when the US under the leadership of president Donald Trump has vowed to take a strict action against Pakistan if it fails to curb the terrorism in the country. Recently, the US also passed sanctions on seven Pakistani companies suspecting them of involvement in the nuclear trade.

The US-Pakistan ties have soured over the years marking a downturn. Two months ago, Donald Trump had accused Pakistan of using America’s money for the preservation of terrorists in his land. Trump also said that US operations in Afghanistan were being hindered by the “safe heaven” provided by Pakistan.

Donald Trump through tweet said.” The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”.

While the video triggered outrage in Pakistan, back in India Twitterati compared the incident with Pakistan stealing the shoes of Kulbhushan Jadhav’s wife and called it a “Karma”. Here are few such tweets:
