Locals Claim To Have Recaptured Three Districts From Taliban After Armed Revolt

The local residents have claimed to have killed at least 40 Taliban fighters and and wounded nearly 15.

According to a media report, Taliban terrorists lost control of Afghanistan’s Pol-e-Hesar district of northern Baghlan province after they came in conflict with armed uprising on Friday. Moreover, as per Afghanistan’s Khaama Press on Friday, local residents claim that two other districts Deh Salah and Qasaan have also been recaptured from the Taliban.

Former acting minister of defence Bismillah Muhammadi, taking to Twitter, said: “Resisting the Taliban terrorists is our duty # Pul-e-Hesar, Deh Salah and Banu districts in Baghlan have been occupied by the resistance forces. Resistance is still alive.”

Bismillah, along with some other members in the Ghani government, is currently residing in Panjshir province, the only region out of the Taliban’s control in Afghanistan.

Though the local residents have claimed to have killed at least 40 Taliban fighters and and wounded nearly 15, Taliban has not yet commented about the alleged developments.

Many Twitter accounts posted pictures and videos of anti-Taliban militia forces who have allegedly recaptured the three districts.
