OJ Simpson, the former NFL star and actor acquitted of double murder, has died at 76. Born in San Francisco, Simpson gained fame in college football before his NFL career. In 1995, he was cleared in the high-profile murder case of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend. Later, in 2008, Simpson was sentenced to 33 years for armed robbery but was released in 2017.
