“Rockets Against Odessa? This Will Be A War Crime”: Ukraine President

Odessa: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, warning the Ukraine’s nationals, said that Russian forces are preparing to bombard Odessa, a historic port city on the Black Sea coast. In a televised address, he said shelling Odessa will be a war crime.

He said, “Rockets against Odessa? This will be a war crime.”

Zelensky is pushing his call for foreign countries to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has stated that US is actively working on it’s Poland deal, to supply jets to Ukraine.

The World Health Organization has confirmed “several” attacks on health care centres in Ukraine and is investigating others, WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.

There are protests being held in Russia, amid the Russian Invasion. Over 550 people were detained at protests on Sunday in 21 cities across Russia against President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, according to an independent Russian-based protest monitor.

On the other hand, as Visa and Mastercard have decided to suspend their services amid the Russian invasion, Russian banks stated that they will join hands with China, as they are planning to issue cards using China’s UnionPay system. 

Ukraine Is Europe’s ‘Fastest Growing Refugee’ Crisis

The number of people fleeing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has crossed 1.5 million, making it Europe’s fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II, the United Nations said on Sunday.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine, a total of 922,400 people have fled Ukraine to Poland, Polish border guards said Sunday. Hungary, Moldova, Romanian and Slovakia have also seen Ukrainian refugees arrive.

Moldova Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita says over 250,000 refugees have entered the country from Ukraine since the start of the war.
