MahaYuti Reiterates Victory Of 45 Plus Seats In LS Elections, To Hold Joint Rallies To Put Up A Show Of Unity

A day after BJP’s slogan of 400 plus and third time Modi Sarkar became viral on social media, MahaYuti comprising BJP, Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party on Wednesday announced that it will contribute big way by winning 45 plus seats of the total 48 seats in Maharashtra in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Three ruling partners, along with other allies, expressed confidence that they will outpace the Maha Vikas Aghadi comprising Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray, Sharad Pawar led NCP and Congress in general election and play a significant role in not only achieving Mission 45 plus in Maharashtra but making a substantial contribution to 400 plus target at the national level paving the way for Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister for the third successive time.

State BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Ajit Pawar led NCP’s state president Sunil Tatkare and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena’s minister Dadaji Bhuse at the press conference announced joint rallies will be held from January 14 at district, taluk and booth levels in all 36 districts of Maharashtra and later in six revenue divisions in February. Three leaders were unanimous in their submission that the people of Maharashtra will wholeheartedly support the MahaYuti and ultimately for the formation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government for the third time. They claimed that systematic planning at the MahaYuti and individual party levels has been made to step up outreach with the voters, which will be implemented carefully.

“We all have decided to face the upcoming elections as a grand alliance. For the last ten years, Narendra Modi has been instrumental in strengthening India’s global standing; we are all working under his leadership. MahaYuti government is working under the leadership of Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis, Ajitdada Pawar. Keeping in mind the elections, Mahayuti rallies will be organized in the district from January itself. On January 14, Mahayuti meetings will be held in all the districts on the same day. At least one thousand activists are likely to participate in this camp. But seeing the enthusiasm of the people, more people may participate,” said Tatkare, who was accompanied by the party’s Mumbai unit chief, Samer Bhujbal.

Bhuse argued that several good decisions were taken in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Also, under Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar, decisions are being taken in the people’s interest. It is necessary to take these works to people. For that, we are holding meetings at the district level,” he said, adding that they will fight the upcoming election together.

Bawankule said the MahaYuti partners will fight the upcoming general election with full strength. “We will win 45 plus seats in Maharashtra as the whole state supports the MahaYuti,” he added.
