Earlier Nitin Gadkari said CM of Maharashtra will be from BJP in revert Raut said Sena won’t back from its demand
Mumbai| After ShivSena’s MLA meet at Matoshree in Mumbai today concluded ShivSena’s stand firm on their demand for Chief Minister of Maharashtra. In press meet, ShivSena MP Sanjay Raut said MLAs have supported our decision and will continue to stand by it.
Today’s Matoshree meet between MLAs of ShivSena and Party chief Uddhav Thackeray had a brief conversation over government formation and their demand for CM and 50:50 formula with BJP. Majority support gained from the MLAs gave Uddhav Thackeray more support to stand still on his decision, Sanjay Raut ShivSena MP said.
‘MLAs said the demand is perfect and we support this. Will stay firm on our wants. We don’t step back’, Raut said.
On the other hand, BJP chief heads are still saying the CM will be from BJP and soon they will form the government. No actions from BJP till date in talks with their ally ShivSena. BJP says their doors are always open for ShivSena but not reaching by themself to Sena.
Whereas Sena is waiting for BJP to approach them. Sena even states that the delay in government formation is because of BJP.

Earlier today, when questioned by Press BJP Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said, “Devendra Fadnavis has been chosen and anything in Maharashtra will be under him. We have 105 seats. We are in talks with Shiv Sena and we will get their support. I am in Delhi. There is no question of moving to Maharashtra”.
To which Raut replayed, “The constitution belongs to the people. The constitution is not their inheritance, if they go down that road then they need to know that we can also use the constitution. I am sure that we will have our CM in Maharashtra”.
“They are creating a situation for Presidential Rule to apply. They are not forming the government neither allowing others to form. As BJP has won 105 seats show a majority and form government or else sit in Opposition let others take swing,” He added.
Earlier today BJP ministers also meet Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari and ask for legal suggestions on forming government as well as inform him about the situation in government formation.
