Will our jawans take EC’s permission before opening fire at militants: PM Modi

Lucknow | Prime Minister Narendra Modi today speaking at a rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar said that should our jawans take Election Commission’s permission before opening fire at the militants.

Referring to a combat operation by the Armed forces where 2 militants were killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian, PM Modi said, The news came in the morning that the army killed some terrorists in Kashmir, Some people are upset as to why Modi has killed terrorists today when voting is going on.”

Attacking the Congress party for Sam Pitroda’s statement on 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots, PM Modi said,” The standard answer of the Congress on Corruption, Inflation and 1984 Anti-Sikh riots is ‘Hua toh Hua’. The arrogance in which these people say this answer has become a part of the government machinery in the country.”

Speaking on the Alwar Rape case in Rajasthan where a Dalit woman was gang raped, PM Modi compared it with 1995 guest house episode in Uttar Pradesh. Criticising BSP supremo Mayawati, Modi said, During the Guest House episode every women in the country felt the pain of Mayawati. If she is so honest protecting the daughters in this country, Mayawati should withdraw her support from the Congress government in Rajasthan.”
