New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the certificate of India’s most honest party since Independence. He claims that since 1947, “corruption-free governance is in their DNA”.
Addressing a press conference in poll-bound Goa, Arvind Kejriwal said, “PM Modi has given AAP the certificate of India’s most honest party since Independence. Modi ji unleashed CBI, police raids on me and Manish Sisodia. 21 party MLAs were arrested, a commission was formed to examine 400 files. Yet nothing was found.”
“Corruption-free governance is in our DNA,” he added.
Arvind Kejriwal also put forth a 13-point agenda for the Goa Assembly election to be held on February 14.
“Goa’s public is looking forward to the upcoming elections on February 14. AAP is fresh hope. They didn’t have any choice except BJP/Congress earlier, they want a change and are frustrated,” Kejriwal said.
As part of the AAP’s 13-point agenda, Kejriwal said employment will be provided to the youth and those who do not get it will get an aid of Rs 3,000 per month.
“For better and free healthcare, Mohalla clinics and hospitals will be opened in every village and district of Goa. Farming issues will be solved after discussing with the farmer community. The trading system will be streamlined and simplified,” Kejriwal said.
“We will provide Rs 1,000 to every woman above 18 years of age. The tourism sector will be developed as per international standards. Goa will have 24×7 free electricity and water. Roads will be improved and free education will be given in all government schools,” he added.
Kejriwal also made a promise about mining in the state. He said that mining in the state has huge vested interest. Kejriwal said that if the AAP comes to power, it will provide land rights to the people in six months.
Kejriwal said that if a party gives you Rs 2000 to vote for them, then remember if AAP wins, Goans will get benefits worth Rs 10 lakh through various schemes.
“In total, if our government comes, a family will get a benefit of Rs 10 lakh in five years. So don’t falls for Rs 2,000 and vote the corrupt,” he said.
