โ€˜Calls for Genocide Could Lead to Civil War; Modi Doesnโ€™t Careโ€™: Naseeruddin Shah

Mumbai: These days, one star after another is reacting to the alleged hate speeches in the Dharma Sansad in Haridwar. Film actor Naseeruddin Shah has now been named in the same list. He has expressed his anger about it.

In fact, recently, he said, โ€œThose who are calling for the massacre of Muslims are actually calling for a full civil war.โ€

Talking to a well-known website, he said, โ€œI wonder if these people know what they are talking about. What they are calling for is a full-scale civil war. 200 million of us are not going to be destroyed so easily. They will fight. These 20 crores consider it to be the motherland.

โ€ At the same time, Naseeruddin Shah continued, โ€20 crores of us are from here; We were born here, generations of our families stayed here and died here. I am sure if any such movement starts, it will face massive resistance and huge amounts of anger.โ€ He also expressed anger over such rhetoric about Muslims.

He said, โ€œThis is an attempt to spread fear among Muslims, and Muslims should not get into it. We should not assume that it is scaring us because if it comes to a crisis, we will fight. Because we are protecting our homes, we will protect our motherland, we will protect our families, we will protect our children. I am not talking about my beliefs, faith is very easily endangered.โ€ This is not the first time, but he has made such statements before.

BJP Got Itโ€™s Own Manโ€™s Home Raided: Akhilesh Yadav

Ashmita Chhabria

Unnao: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, demobilizing the allegations of Industrialists Piyush Jain has connections with his party, whose house was raided by Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) last week, said that the perfume trader has links with BJP. He states that BJP raided their own manโ€™s house, after confusing his name with SP MLC Pushpraj Jain.

While addressing the reporters at a press conference at Unnao, the launch of the ninth phase of his partyโ€™s โ€˜Vijay Yatraโ€™ he demobilized the allegations made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On being questioned about the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanathโ€™s allegations about SP opposing demonetization because it wanted to hide black money and the raids at the Kanpur traderโ€™s home, Akhilesh said, โ€œThere canโ€™t be a bigger liar than the CM. If someone who is a yogi lies while wearing saffron clothes, then how will anyone believe him? The CMโ€™s claim that the money recovered in Kanpur is associated with the SP and that the businessman launched a perfume (for SP) is a lie. Also, whose responsibility was the recovered moneyโ€ฆ how did it come? Did it come in airplanes or trains? They have their government everywhere. Then who is responsible? This proves that the note-ban was a failure.โ€

In November, the SP had launched the โ€˜Samajwadi perfumeโ€™ to spread the โ€˜smell of socialismโ€™. The perfume was a mix of 22 fragrances and was prepared in Kannauj by SP MLC Pushpraj Jain โ€˜Pampiโ€™. โ€œThey advertised through the media that the businessman whose home was raided belonged to SP. By afternoon, journalists who are aware understood that the businessman had nothing to do with the SP. They (BJP leaders) also kept changing their statements. In the morning, the headlines were that the home of a businessman who launched an โ€˜itraโ€™ for SP was raided. The BJP got the raid conducted at the wrong place and the home of its own person. You should get his (Piyush Jainโ€™s) call details and you will find the names of BJPโ€™s people. They wanted to raid the home of Pushpraj Jain, but by mistake raided Piyush Jainโ€™s. It seemed like a mistake of Digital India,โ€ added Akhilesh.
