More Than 10,000 People Stranded On Uttrakhand’s Yamunotri Highway As Safety Wall Collapses: Report

Char Dham: Over 10,000 people are said to be stranded on the route going to the Yamunotri temple in Uttrakhand. The highway’s safety wall caved in, causing this to happen. According to sources, reopening the road might take up to three days.

According to reports, the road could be reopened in three days.

Buses and other heavy vehicles were also prohibited from entering the area. A total of 24 pilgrim buses and 15 minibuses (Char Dham) have been stopped. They were escorted to the Sainchatti guest home and a nearby ashram.

The district administration is attempting to evacuate passengers from some of the smaller vehicles, but those who have arrived in large vehicles from afar are unable to leave.
