According to party sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of all BJP-ruled states, will propose the name of the state president JP Nadda. As part of the election process, Nadda will file nomination after 10.30 am. There are no contenders against him. He will be selected for this post by consensus. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can address party workers in the BJP office.

 

There will also be changes in the positions of secretary and vice president

 

The BJP has called all state presidents, organization general ministers and core group members in the states to the party headquarters in Delhi. At the same time, in the last few days, the work related to the processes of organizational elections of BJP increased. Election in-charge Radha Mohan Singh’s team prepared the voter list. There will also be a change in the positions of secretary and vice president in the party after Nadda becomes president. However, the possibility of change at the Secretary-General level is less.

JP Nadda is an MP from Rajya Sabha. He is also the Secretary of the BJP Parliamentary Board. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the party entrusted him with the responsibility of Uttar Pradesh. The BJP won 62 out of 80 seats there. Nadda was made the executive chairman in June 2019. Since then, there has been speculation that he will succeed Amit Shah as the full-time president.
