Meanwhile, BJP leaders Hans Raj Hans and Manjinder Singh Sirsa paid Moose Wala’s family a visit to express their condolences on his demise.

New Delhi: According to Asian News International, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will meet Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s family in Moosa village in Punjab’s Mansa district today. The singer who was murdered on May 29 has the nation demanding for action against the killers.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot visited the singer’s house to meet his father. He expressed his distress over the incident and called for strict action to be taken against those behind the killing.

Mr. Pilot told reporters, “It’s tragic to know how our leader was killed. An atmosphere of threat is being created in the state repetitively. The Centre and state governments should probe it (death) and take strict action. Such an incident is aimed at creating fear amongst people. Drug mafias, terrorists, and gangsters are getting a foothold (in Punjab). The Centre and state should investigate it (Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder) and act against the culprits.”

Meanwhile, BJP leaders Hans Raj Hans and Manjinder Singh Sirsa paid Moose Wala’s family a visit to express their condolences on his demise.

According to the forensic report, Sidhu Moose Wala’s body had 19 bullet injuries and he died within 15 minutes of being shot, with the cause of death being “hemorrhage shock” owing to anemometer gunshot injuries.

Last week, Punjab Police reorganized the Special Inquiry Team (SIT) to speed up the investigation into Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moose Wala, who was murdered.

The Punjabi singer was shot dead in Jawaharke village of Punjab’s Mansa  district by unidentified assailants. The incident occurred a day after the Punjab police withdrew his security, along with that of 424 others. The singer’s demise has left his fans in a state of disbelief.

Sidhu Moose Wala, who was born on June 17, 1993, was a popular singer among the youth, with 6.9 million Instagram followers. With songs like “295,” “So High,” “Issa Jatt,” “Tochan,” and “Dollar,” Moose Wala soared to new heights of fame.

However, the problems surrounding him for encouraging drugs and violence through his songs often overshadowed his stardom. The Punjabi singer had also stepped into politics in December 2021. He joined the Congress party and contested from Mansa, but lost.
