Railway Exams Will Be Far More Organized In Future: Ashwini Vaishnaw

New Delhi: Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday said rail examinations will be systematic and far more organized. The Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology was speaking at India Today’s Budget Roundtable 2022 on “The Double-Engine Growth Model”.

Speaking of the latest protests by students, over rail examinations and the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recruitment process, Ashwini Vaishnaw said rail jobs are coveted and numbers of applicants are huge.

He said that point of concern manifested by the protesting students was how many people were moved from first stage to second stage.

“The exam process is also evolving. The rail exam will be systematic and far more organized,” said the rail Minister.

Earlier on Friday while addressing the Rajya Sabha he had said that social media needs to be made more accountable and stricter rules in this regard could be brought in if there is political consensus on the matter.
