Rape, Murder, Forced The Family To Perform Last Rites Around Midnight: Bulandshahr Rape Case

Bulandshahr: An incident of rape and murder has come in limelight from the city. The girl, who went to work in the field at Bulandshahr, was murdered after being gang-raped. Just like Hathras case, the police did not burnt the body of the victim Kishori, but allegedly forced her family to perform her last rites late around midnight.

In Dibai-Ghalibpur village on the border of Bulandshahr and Aligarh, this case of January 21 was suppressed by the police-administration by intimidation.

The police also told ‘this story’ to media that the girl had a love affair and amid the affair was murdered. The boy too tried to kill himself.

As per Dainik Bhaskar’s report, she had gone to get fodder from home on January 21. In the afternoon, the accused is a resident of Dhorau village, and his three companions forcibly picked her up and took her to the tubewell in the same village. There she was gang-raped. After raping her she was shot by them in her head. The family came to know about the incident when police called them.

The relatives of the teenager allege that there was a latch from outside the room of the tubewell. Inside there were stains of Kishori’s blood. The accused was also there. Seeing the situation there, one could understand that the girl was raped. The police took away the body and the accused in a separate vehicles. In the evening itself, the police took the body to Bulandshahr District Hospital. Didn’t give any information to the family of the victim, as per Dainik Bhaskar reports.

The next day, on January 22, the victim’s family received a phone call from the officials that the post-mortem of the daughter was being done at the Bulandshahr District Hospital. The family members were not satisfied with the post-mortem and demanded a post-mortem in their presence, but the police sent the dead body there after showing fear of sticks. Family of the girl told the police officers to bring the girl’s body to the village, but the officers refused.

After that the family of the victim reached the hospital and has objected saying that something wrong was being done by the body but the police denied. The family demanded the gang rape charges in the FIR and the arrest of all the accused, but the police threatened and silenced them. The body was handed over to them around 8 pm.

They had reached Dibai with the dead body that the police car came from behind. They took the dead body to the police station and protested. The family did not want to conduct the last rites on the night of January 22. Here it is considered inauspicious. That’s why the family kept pleading for the last rites according to social customs, but the police did not listen.

As per the Dainik Bhaskar reports, the police asked to perform the last rites immediately by pressurizing the provisions of the Covid Act and action. When the family reached the crematorium with the dead body, a police car accompanied them. After reaching another police vehicle reached the crematorium. As per the report, police threatened to arrest them and file a case against them. Amid the threat they had to perform her last rites late around midnight.

Relatives and villagers have accused the police of unilateral action under pressure from the accused in the case.

The family demands that the police have not added the section of gangrape in the case now. At the same time, the police say that the matter was of a love affair. The accused youth tried to cut the nerves of his throat and hand with a blade after shooting her. He is arrested and sent to jail. His associate accomplice has also been arrested. The slide has been sent to Agra for examination, if it is confirmed from there, the section of rape will be added.

As per the report, the father told that after performing the last rites on January 22, it was expected that the police and administration would stand with us, but the astonishing thing is that in the last 10 days there is no action being taken by police. The father alleges that the accused are domineering. Instead of taking action against the accused the police is avoiding them. The father of the accused Rajesh Sharma is a big landlord, and has a huge property business.

The government staff has come under pressure after RLD President Jayant Chaudhary’s tweet in the matter. Attacking on the Yogi Government he tweeted, “Shocking news from Uttar Pradesh! Once again, the Yogi government is not accompanying the victim’s family, but is conducting the cremation at night, so that the heinous crime does not shine.”

At the same time, the police is also investigating from its level. Police officials said that in the preliminary investigation, it seems to be a love affair. The phone details of the minor were also checked. Even in the interrogation of the accused, specific facts did not come to the fore. The slide has been sent to confirm the rape.

At the same time, after pressure, the investigation from Dibai was handed over to the Jahangirabad Kotwali in-charge. On Tuesday, Kotwali in-charge Akhilesh Tripathi arrived for investigation. He took complete information from the family and told to submit the report to the top officers soon.

On the other hand, the family is denying any kind of love affair. The family is saying that if it would have been love affair, why would she be murdered? The victim’s uncle claims that it is obvious that they have did something against her will, and feared that she would complain, hence she was shot dead.

As per the report in this case the police is stating that it was matter of love affair and the accused tried to commit suicide. Whereas, it came to the investigation that the injury marks on the neck are not very deep. As if very carefully wounded according to the evidence. The accused has cut marks on his hand. The accused was admitted to Aligarh Medical College on 21. From here, 27 were sent to Bulandshahr District Jail. Right now the accused has been kept in the hospital there. According to in-charge Dr. KK Singh, there is a cut in the vein in the hand, there is a slight wound in the throat, but it is not a serious wound.
