Telangana BJP’s Third Phase Of ‘Padayatra’ Scheduled On June 23

Telengana:The Telangana BJP in its state executive committee meeting in Hyderabad decided the launch of the third phase of its padayatra on June 23 which also marks the 69th death anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherji, and it will end on July 12.

The Padyatra also called Praja Sangrama Yatra which will be led by BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

The fist two phases covered  828 kilometers in 67 days with approximately 11 lakh people joining the walkathon. BJP national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with several other BJP leaders had also marked their presence.

Sanjay at the state executive committee meeting, lashed out at  Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao saying “He misled the nation by going to Delhi and Punjab to extend financial support to farmers there”,he termed the visit “big drama”.He further questioned KCR “how many martyr families in the Telangana separate statehood agitation were offered any kind of financial support, jobs or were provided with houses?.

The third phase of the Praja Sangrama Yatra will commence on the occasion of Shyama Prasad Mukherji Balidaan Divas on June 23. The fourth phase will reportedly be taken up in August.

In the upcoming two phases, Bandi Sanjay will cover 34 assembly constituencies in the erstwhile combined Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda districts.
