Three Police Men Suspended Amid Their Dancing Video Goes Viral

Gandhinagar: Three police constables were suspended for dancing and enjoying music in the police vehicle. A video of them enjoying went viral on the social media. In the video, four cops were seen in uniform dancing to the songs played on the stereo of a vehicle they were travelling in. They were not wearing any safety belts or masks.

Three of the police men were identified as Jagdish Solanki, Haresh Chaudhary and Raja Hiragar. They are attached to the Gandhidham A police station.

The office of Mayur Patil, Superintendent of Police, Kutch-Gandhidham, in a statement, said that the three cops attached to Gandhidham A division police station have been suspended with immediate effect. Amid their video went viral and in the video they were seen not following traffic laws, they have been suspended. 

“A viral video was brought to notice by media and several social media channels in which police personnel can be seen dancing on songs, while wearing police uniform, inside a four-wheeler… Such acts of breaking traffic laws while driving doesn’t suit a disciplined department… and brings bad name to the police,” the statement said.

“Of the four policemen seen in the video, three attached with Gandhidham A division police station have been suspended with immediate effect while a letter has been written to superintendent of police Banaskantha recommending disciplinary action against the fourth personnel who is attached with Banaskantha police,” it added.
