TMC MP Mahua Moitra To Demand Regulations For 10 Minute Deliveries, In Parliament

New Delhi: “10 minute deliveries need to be regulated/outlawed”. “No civilised society can be incentivising delivery executives to break traffic rules & put own & other’s lives at risk. All for a quicker pizza . “Am going to raise this in parliament”. TMC MP Mahua Moitra tweeted today.

Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Big Basket, and Dunzo are some of the apps which offers instant deliveries.

There have been ample cases where delivery boys have met with accidents and in some cases even lost their lives.

Earlier Congress MP Karti Chidhamram had also criticised the 10 minute delivery scheme, “It’s going to put undue pressure on the delivery personnel, who are not employees and who have no benefits or security, who have no bargaining power with Zomato,” he had tweeted, when zomato had announced Zomato Instant.
