Watch: P Chidambaram Chased Away By Congress Legal Cell In Kolkata For Representing WB Govt

Congress leader P Chidambaram, in an embarrassing turn of events, faced loud protests at the Calcutta High Court. The former union minister faced hostile slogans from group of lawyers belonging to the Congress legal cell, who chased him away till he got in to the car.

Chidambaram was in Kolkata to represent West Bengal govt in the Metro Dairy case against West Bengal PCC president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. The Congress legal cell members were offending by the fact that a senior leader of the party would be fighting a case against the party’s own leader.

Though supporters of the Congress party have called the protest motivated & done with a malicious intent, the incident has once again exposed the infighting and rivalry within the grand old party.

A person in black robe, in this viral video, can also be heard saying, “We spit on you.”
