Who are the parents of the Children……..?

Mumbai: These Orphans have been admitted to Snehasadan by the Child Welfare Committee.

Names of Children are given below: Six children who are currently fostered by NGO Sneha Sadan are seeking Orphan Certificate. Under the Juvenile Justice Act, children in need of care and protection are admitted to all governmental and non-governmental organizations. The Orphan Certificate enables the children to avail benefits and schemes announced by the Govt including reservations in govt jobs. If children do not have an orphan certificate when leaving the institution, they are deprived of education, financial grant, or special benefits.

Following six children who have been with Sneha Sadan for over 10 years now too, have applied for an Orphan certificate. The application has been filed with the Women and Child Development Department. However, as per the requirements, the photos and details of the children have to be publicized for the identification of their parents, if any. “For 10 years no one came for them, so we have now proceeded to apply for an orphan certificate for them,” said Father Wellington, Asst. Director of Sneha Sadan.

Sneha Sadan is an organization that has been home to countless young children, Orphans, Dejected, and street kids who society often overlooks. Starting in 1962, Sneha Sadan is more than just an orphanage, just like its name it provides a house of love to the children in need. So far it has been a home to 30,000 children.

Parents or relatives of the children are requested to contact Snehasadan, Chakala Andheri (East). Phone No.-022-26873694 / 022-26872945/ 8355897568
