Why Hate Hindus So Much? Hardik Patel Slams Congress Leader’s Ram Mandir Remark

Gandhinagar: Hardik Patel slammed the Congress when a senior party official alleged that dogs had been seen peeing on bricks kept in villages for use in the Ram temple’s construction.

“I have said earlier as well that the Congress party works to hurt the sentiments of the people, always tries to damage the faith of Hindu religion. Today, a former Union Minister and Gujarat Congress leader made a statement that dogs urinate on bricks meant for the Ram temple!”

“I want to ask the Congress and its leaders what enmity they have with Lord Shri Ram. Why hate the Hindus so much? After centuries, a temple for Lord Shri Ram is being built in Ayodhya. Yet the leaders of Congress keep making statements against Lord Shri Ram,” Patel tweeted.

Before resigning earlier this month, the Gujarat leader, who was introduced into the Congress in the hopes of swaying the state’s kingmaker Patidar votes, had erased any mentions to the Congress from his Twitter bio.

With his remarks on the Ram Mandir, Bharatsinh Solanki, the former chief of the Gujarat Congress and a political veteran, sparked uproar. He accused the BJP of collecting millions of dollars in the name of Lord Ram and failing to account for it.

He also alleged that the government kept the money in their budget, and still went out to collect more money for the Ram temple.

Ramshila, or bricks for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, were sent by people from across the country with great reverence and faith, Solanki said. “These bricks were stored in villages to be used for the construction of the temple. But you must have seen dogs urinating on them,” he added.

Hardik Patel’s resignation from the Congress, which came just months before the state election, and his outspoken criticism of the party and its leaders have fueled speculation that he will join the BJP.
