“You Will Die”: Terrorist Group Issues Threat To Kashmiri Pandits

Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Islam, a terrorist group, has issued a threat to Kashmiri Pandits. They have issued threat to Pandits residing at the Hawal Transit accommodation in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.

They have written a letter to the president of the migrant colony. In the letter the group has said all ‘migrants and RSS agents’ to “leave or face death”.

Further, the terrorist group said there was “no space for Kashmiri Pandits who want another Israel in Kashmir to kill Kashmiri Muslims”.

“Double/triple your security, be ready for targeted killing. You will die,” the letter said.

This comes days after Rahul Bhat was killed by the terrorists. Rahul was an employee of Kashmiri Pandit Government. He was attacked at the Tehsildar office in Chadoora in central Kashmir on Thursday afternoon.

Terror group ‘Kashmir Tigers’ claimed responsibility for the attack.

Following the attack and killing of Rahul, Kashmiri Pandits took to streets. They were protesting against his killing. On Saturday, government employees from the Kashmiri Pandit community made a desperate appeal for evacuation from the Kashmir Valley in a letter to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. “Kashmir is not safe for us,” they wrote.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha said that Rahul Bhat’s Killing was a targeted one. Special Investigation Team will probe the matter from all the angles.

The SIT will also investigate the force used for dispersing Kashmiri migrant protestors in the aftermath of the incident, said the LG.

Manoj Sinha said, “Two foreign terrorists involved in the killing have been shot down by the police in an encounter. Directions have been given to the administration to not use force anywhere.”

LG Manoj Sinah has also ordered an enquiry into the tear gas shelling against Kashmiri Pandits who were protesting. The pandits were protesting against the killing of Rahul Bhat. Government sources of India Today have said that strict action will be taken against the officials involved in the incident.
