Arvind Kejriwal : “Sisodia Should Be Awarded With Bharat Ratna”

kejriwal says sisodia should be awarded bharat ratna
Manish Sisodia should get Bharat Ratna, instead, they conducted CBI raids and filed cases against him when his work was being recognized globally, says Arvind Kejriwal.

Mumbai:
Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), stated on Monday that Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, should be awarded the Bharat Ratna for his contribution to the reform of government schools in the nation’s capital. Kejriwal criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the CBI raid on Delhi’s deputy chief minister and claimed that Sisodia and even himself could be arrested because the raids are being carried out in advance of the Gujarat elections.

“Manish Sisodia reformed government schools which other parties could not do in 70 years. Such a person should get Bharat Ratna. The entire country’s education system should be handed over to him, but instead, they conducted CBI raids on him. Manish Sisodia may be arrested, who knows I may also be arrested; all this is being done for Gujarat elections” ,said Kejriwal.

In preparation for the Gujarat Assembly elections later this year, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia are in the western state for a two-day visit.

The CBI conducted a raid on Sisodia and many other officials last week in relation to alleged irregularities in the execution of the Delhi excise policy. Raids were allegedly conducted at a time when Sisodia’s work was gaining international attention, according to Kejriwal.

BJP Approached Sisodia to join the party, Tweets Sisodia :

Earlier in the day, Manish Sisodia claimed in his tweet that BJP approached him to join the party and leave AAP. The message also mentioned that he would be made the CM of the capital and all the cases against him would be taken back.

He said, “My reply to the BJP is – I am a descendant of Maharana Pratap, a Rajput. I am ready to get beheaded but can never bow down before conspirators and corrupt people. All the cases against me are false. Do whatever you want to do.”
