A 29-year-old man named Kilaru Keerthi Teja killed his industrialist grandfather in Hyderabad over a property dispute.
The industrialist Velamati Chandrasekhara Janardhana Rao was stabbed 70 times by his grandson.
The incident took place at Rao’s residence in Hyderabad.
The grandson returned to Hyderabad after completing his master’s degree in the United States. After returning to India, Teja visited his grandfather’s place, where they had a heated argument over the property distribution.
According to reports, Teja was given Rs 4 crore as his share. However, he was not happy with the amount of money he received.
Police are investigating the matter, and Teja has been arrested.
