The Czech Constitutional Court dismissed a plea from Nikhil Gupta, an Indian detainee in Prague, challenging his extradition to the US. Gupta faces murder-for-hire accusations in an alleged attempt on Khalistani extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun’s life on American territory. US prosecutors charged Gupta, 52, alongside an Indian government official in a thwarted plot to assassinate Pannun, who holds both American and Canadian citizenships.
