Georgia: Indian Student Killed By Homeless Man

In Lithonia, Georgia, a homeless man hammered and killed Vivek Saini, a 25-year-old student of Indian descent who was pursuing a master’s degree in the US. The alleged perpetrator, Julian Faulkner, was captured on CCTV repeatedly hitting.

Vivek was a part-time clerk at the business, and other staff members informed the police that they had been providing Faulkner with shelter for about two days. Accordingly, the staff gave him water, chips, a soda, and a jacket to stay warm.

Although they knew it was freezing outside, the staff claimed they did not ask Faulkner to leave the store. On January 16, though, Faulkner received a warning from Vivek Saini to go or he would call the police.

According to the police, Vivek was attacked by Faulkner with a hammer while he was heading home. Vivek was struck on his head about fifty times, according to a worker.

Faulkner was standing over Saini’s body with the hammer when the cops came to the scene, and they declared him dead.

According to his family, Vivek Saini, who completed his B Tech in computer science at Chandigarh University, moved to the US two years ago in Barwala, Haryana. He had just graduated from Alabama University with a master’s degree in business administration.

According to Vivek’s cousin Simran, his last rites have been concluded soon after his body has arrived in India.

“He was a brilliant student who wanted a decent job to support himself and his family. He used to work in a store, and for the last many days, the person identified as Vivek’s killer used to come to the store and beg for cigarettes.

Vivek used to give him cigarettes, but on that day, he refused and said he would call the police if the man came to annoy them again. Later, he went with a hammer and cold-bloodedly killed my brother,” said Simran. Simran added that Faulker was a “drug addict and a psycho”.
