With nearly 600 dead in a severe cholera outbreak, India sent 3.5 tonnes of humanitarian aid to help Zambia combat the health crisis. The supplies include water purification equipment, chlorine tablets and ORS sachets to hydrate patients. Nine of the ten Zambian provinces have reported infections since October 2023.
