Israel Alleges UN Support For Hamas, Greenlights Extra Fuel For Gaza

Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen has called for the resignation of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, accusing him of supporting the Hamas terror group. Cohen claimed that Guterres’ call for a Gaza ceasefire amounted to endorsing violence.

Additionally, Cohen stated he won’t renew the visa for the UN’s top humanitarian coordinator in the West Bank and Gaza, alleging failure to condemn Hamas attacks on Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Office has confirmed the security cabinet’s approval to increase daily fuel shipments into Gaza.

The decision, influenced by US pressure, aims to address humanitarian concerns and prevent epidemics in the southern Gaza Strip, with Washington reportedly pushing for a significant boost in the fuel supply.
