On Sunday morning, Mount Marapi in Sumatra, Indonesia, erupted, forcing the evacuation of over 150 villagers as volcanic ash covered nearby areas. The eruption, reported at 6:21 am local time, sent ash 1,300 meters above the crater. Authorities warned of potential lava threats in the rainy season.
