In the last two days, Pakistan witnessed rain-induced tragedies claiming 37 lives, as reported by authorities on Sunday. The downpours caused house collapses and landslides, obstructing roads, notably in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province. The provincial disaster management authority disclosed that at least 27 fatalities, primarily children, occurred due to rain-related incidents since Thursday night along the Afghan border.
