Reports: PM Modi Likely To Skip SCO Summit In Kazakhstan Next Month

Reports say India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unlikely to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Kazakhstan next month. No official statement has been issued on the matter. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is likely to be represent New Delhi at the summit that may see Russian President Vladimir Putin, China’s Xi Jinping and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, among others in attendance.
