Heavily armed terrorists conducted three synchronized attacks, targeting a high-security prison in Pakistan’s troubled Balochistan province. The assaults, on January 29 in Mach town near Quetta, resulted in the deaths of four law enforcement personnel, two civilians, and nine militants during a subsequent gun battle. Security forces thwarted the attack on the central Mach Jail, apprehending three terrorists.
