The National News Agency (NNA), a government-operated news outlet, announced that three individuals, including two journalists and another civilian, lost their lives due to enemy airstrikes in the Tair Harfa area.
The National News Agency reported that the incident occurred close to Tir Harfa, approximately a mile from the Israeli border. Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen TV confirmed the tragic deaths of its correspondent Farah Omar and cameraman Rabih Maamari.
A source from Marjayoun hospital, requesting anonymity, revealed that the seven-year-old granddaughter is in critical condition. Al-Mayadeen director Ghassan bin Jiddo asserted that the third civilian killed, along with the journalists, was a “contributor” to the channel.
Bin Jiddo emphasized the deliberate nature of the attack, linking it to Israel’s recent decision to block Al-Mayadeen’s website.
