In Tamil Nadu’s Krishnagiri district, a 13-year-old girl student was sexually assaulted by three teachers at a government school.
Under the various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, all three accused teachers have been arrested, said C Dinesh Kumar, Collector of Krishnagiri.
Collector C Dinesh Kumar said, “The accused teachers have been sent to police remand for 15 days.”
The District Education Officer (DEO) has suspended all three accused.
Since January 3, the girl has not attended school, so the school inquired and visited her home.
The Officials said, “Then the incident came to light that the child got affected. With the guidance of school teachers, the girl’s parents filed a complaint at Bargur All Women Police Station.
