NASA’s latest climate satellite was launched into orbit on Thursday to meticulously observe the world’s oceans and atmosphere, providing unprecedented insights. Positioned approximately 420 miles (676 kilometres) above Earth, the satellite will scrutinize the oceans and atmosphere for at least three years, employing two scientific instruments to scan the globe daily and a third for monthly measurements.
