Akhilesh Yadav & Mayawati Mock BJP For Last Minute UP Cabinet Expansion

Lucknow : On Uttar Pradesh government’s Cabinet Expansion leader of opposition and Samajwadi Party Supermo Akhilesh Yadav mocked BJP and said that BJP’s concluding ‘drama’ before polls have began. Bhaujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati also said that UP govt is trying to mobilize votes on basis of caste.

CM Yogi Adityanath induced 7 new ministers in his Cabinet, former Congress leader Jitin Prasada, Paltu Ram, Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar, Sangeeta Balwant, Dharamveer Singh, Sanjeev Kumar and Dinesh Khatik.

After Cabinet Expansion, Akhilesh Yadav slams UP government through Twitter and tweeted, “The cabinet expansion of the BJP government of UP is also a hoax. Today, a drama is being created to represent those who got their due for four and a half years. Till the time the color of the names of the new ministers dries up, the model code of conduct for the 2022 elections will be implemented. The concluding point of the BJP drama has started.”

On This Cabinet change Mayawati also said that the UP government is trying to woo the voters and warns people of UP government’s dual face. She also alleged that BJP-led government has not taken any concrete steps for the development of the backward class.

Mayawati said that BJP is allegedly trying to appease backward class by inducting new ministers but also halted the projected stated during her government in the state for them. According to her UP Government is trying to mobilize the votes on the basis of caste by inducting new ministers in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Cabinet, months ahead of Assembly polls in the state.

She tweeted, “Whoever has been made a minister by BJP yesterday to mobilise votes on the basis of caste in UP, it would have been better if they did not accept it. Because by the time they will understand their respective ministry and want to do something, the code of conduct for election will be implemented here.” Continuing the thread she again tweeted, “While the present BJP government has not taken any concrete steps for the development and upliftment of these sections of society, but most of the works started by the BSP government in their interests have also been stopped. Advice to these classes to be careful with this double-character of theirs (government).”
