AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi said Babri Masjid was, is, and will always remain so. In a tweet from his handle, Owaisi said, “#BabriMasjid thi, hai aur rahegi inshallah #BabriZindaHai.“
One day before the scheduled Bhumi Pujan at Ayodhya the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) on Tuesday said that Babri Masjid was and would always be a mosque. Referring to Hagia Sophia in Turkey, AIMPLB tweeted that the land was usurped and called out the court judgment as “majority appeasing”.
“#BabriMasjid was and will always be a Masjid. #HagiaSophia is a great example for us. Usurpation of the land by an unjust, oppressive, shameful and majority appeasing judgment can’t change it’s status. No need to be heartbroken. Situations don’t last forever. #ItsPolitics,” AIMPLB tweeted on it’s official Twitter handle.

The Supreme Court, in its landmark judgment in a decades-old land dispute, ruled 2.77-acre land in Ayodhya to be handed over to the Hindu deity Ram Lalla. The unanimous verdict of the constitution bench also directed the centre to allot 5 acres land to Sunni Waqf Board for the construction of mosque somewhere else.
