Wardha army camp blast: Death toll rises to Five

The Demolition Ground at Central Ammunition Depot in Wardha was given to the Khamaria ammunition Factory in Jabalpur for their demolition activities.

 

Wardha| At least five people were killed and six others were injured in a blast that occurred in Maharashtra‘s Wardha early Tuesday morning. The blast took place near the Pulgaon army depot. Reportedly, the demolition range where the explosion happened is used for burying old ammunition. According to the witness, the blast occurred when the officials were unloading the ammunition.

The Demolition Ground at Central Ammunition Depot was given to the Khamaria ammunition Factory in Jabalpur for their demolition activities. One of the four dead was a trained staff of the Khamaria ammunition factory and three other were labourers there.
