Despite all these things, my party never said anything personal about Nitish Kumar, Chirag Paswan added. He also said that he was called Kalidas and Dalal by the JDU members.
According to the report by Jansatta, the LJP’s Chirag Paswan had written a letter to BJP chief JP Nadda before the party decided to quit the NDA. The letter was written a day before the announcement of polls in Bihar. In this letter, Chirag Paswan had accused that his father Ram Vilas Paswan, who passed away on Thursday, was insulted.
Chirag Paswan, in this letter, had expressed his displeasure over Nitish Kumar. However, he praised PM Modi for his leadership. Chirag said that there is anger in Bihar against Nitish Kumar and this thing has come out in the BJP survey itself. The Paswan junior also wrote to JP Nadda regarding BJP having a CM in many other states, but not in Bihar.
While referring to how his father was insulted, Chirag Paswan wrote that the Chief Minister’s attitude towards his father during Rajya Sabha elections was not correct. Paswan wrote that Nitish refused to support his father’s Rajya Sabha candidate, after which Ram Vilas Paswan was forced to meet Nitish to convince him for the same. “LJP leaders are hurt and angry by the manner in which Chief Minister’s insulted our party’s founder Ram Vilas Paswan”, Chirag wrote.
Despite all these things, my party never said anything personal about Nitish Kumar, Paswan wrote. He also said that he was called Kalidas and Dalal by the JDU members. “Even if there is such a complete and confident faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it will serve to bring a rift in the LJP-BJP relationship if such things are said by partner leaders of NDA,” Chirag Paswan said.
The actor turned politician also said that the current NDA government in Bihar is working on the agenda of Mahagathbanhan (Grand alliance), and CM’s dream plan was jointly formed by the JDU-RJD-Congress in 2015. Paswan also questioned Nitish Kumar’s decision not to bring in Biharis from other states to Bihar during the lockdown.
