New Delhi| The Dark Chapter in Indian Democracy- Emergency, which began in 1975 imposed by Indira Gandhi, has completed 45 years today. On this occasion, Home Minister Amit Shah has targeted the Gandhi family. Shah said that a family had lured the country into an emergency in the greed of power. Overnight the entire country was imprisoned. Freedom of the press, court and free speech were suppressed. At that time the poor were tortured.
‘Dynasty flourishes in Congress’
Shah said that after the efforts of millions of people, Emergency was revoked and democracy was restored, but the attitude of Congress did not change. “The interests of a family, the party were also kept above the interest of the country. The same is happening in Congress today,” he tweeted.

Congress leaders feel suffocated: Shah
Sharing a media report, Shah said that during the Congress Working Committee meeting held recently, senior party leaders raised some issues, but their points were suppressed. “A party spokesperson was thrown out. The truth is that Congress leaders are feeling suffocated,” He said.
During the recent CWC meet, senior members and younger members raised a few issues. But, they were shouted down.

Shah further said that the Congress needs to ask itself as the opposition:

2. Why are the leaders except for the people of one dynasty not allowed to speak?
3. Why are leaders getting frustrated in Congress?
