Coronavirus Outbreak: Maharashtra Records More Than 23000 Coronavirus Cases

In Maharashtra, on Wednesday, 23,179 people were found infected with Coronavirus. While 9,138 patients recovered, death toll was 84.

 

The number of new Coronavirus cases is steadily increasing in the country. On Wednesday, 35,838 people were found Covid-19 positive. 17,793 recovered and 171 died. With this, the number of patients being treated, meaning active case, has increased to 2,49,197. In the last 24 hours, an increase of 17,862 cases has been registered in the active case. The number of newly infected people is highest after 5 December, i.e. 101 days. On December 5, there were 36,010 cases. After this, rhe cases started declining.

So far, a total of more than 14 million people have been infected across the globe. While 1,10,61,170 people have been cured 1,59,250 people have also died. These figures are taken from covid19india.org.

The Rajasthan government has given relief to primary students in view of the increasing infection of Coronavirus in the state. Now about 40 lakh children from class 1 to class 5 will not have to appear for exams. These students will be promoted in the next class without exam.

It has been decided to conduct 6th and 7th examinations in Rajasthan from April 15. Orders in this regard have been issued by the Department of Education.
