Coronavirus Pandemic Live Updates: Maharashtra Warns Filing FIRs Against Those Who Won’t Follow Quarantine After Being Stamped

The stringent actions will be taken after people instructed to home quarantine are found traveling in trains for two consecutive days.

Chhatisgarh State Government has banned all the inter-state transports in the wake of coronavirus.

“Entry of the transport buses coming from other states in Chhattisgarh has been restricted with immediate effect. Operation of all passenger vehicles with All India Tourist Permit has also been stopped till further orders,” officials said.

The Manali Hoteliers Association announced- “In a meeting with all tourism stakeholders, it has been decided that after three days all activities should be stopped till March 31 in view of coronavirus. All members are advised not to entertain bookings till March 31.”

He also said that if those with the quarantine stamps are found not following the instruction and going around instead of isolating, an FIR will be filed against them. A 64-year-old person, who was tested positive in Maharashtra, passed away at Kasturba Hospital. The person had returned from Dubai. Maharashtra has the highest number of positive cases in the country. Before this, a man in Karnataka and a woman in Delhi had succumbed to the infection.
