Farmer leader Baldev Singh Yadav said, “This movement is not only for the farmers of Punjab, but for the whole country. We are going to strengthen our movement and it has already spread across the country.” He appealed to everyone to ensure that the bandh is peaceful, saying, “Since the government was not treating us properly, so We called for a Bharat Bandh.”
