The Congress leader said that people laugh at the Prime Minister’s praise of the UP government for Covid management.
While addressing the newly recruited volunteers of the party’s social media cell on Friday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asked them not to be afraid of the BJP’s “fake news”.
The former Congress President, while referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statements on Covid-19 management in the country, said that people laugh at the Prime Minister’s praise of the UP government for Covid management.
Mr Gandhi also went on to add that the Prime Minister’s statements on the stand-off with China are laughable as China, he claimed, is sitting inside Indian territory.
People have stopped believing “BJP’s Fake News”, Mr Gandhi claimed.
The Congress leader also used this occasion to target party turncoats. He said that those afraid are free to leave the party. He also called them “RSS people”. Congress leader Jitin Prasada had joined the BJP last month. Earlier, Jyotiraditya Scindia had joined hands with the BJP.
However, Mr Gandhi invited “fearless people” outside the Congress to join the party.
