Embassy of India in Ethiopia has informed me about the deceased Indian nationals: Sushma Swaraj

New Delhi | External Affairs and Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj has condoled the deaths of all the victims in the Ethiopian Airlines crash, which lead to the death of 157 people.

“I am sorry to know about the unfortunate crash of Ethiopian Airlines plane ET 302”, she said

She further gave details about the four Indians who were also present on the flight.

“We’ve lost 4 Indian nationals in the air crash. I’ve asked Indian High Commissioner in Ethiopia to provide all help and assistance to the bereaved families”.

Swaraj has named the four deceased as,” Embassy of India in Ethiopia has informed me that the deceased Indian nationals are Vaidya Pannagesh Bhaskar, Vaidya Hansin Annagesh, Nukavarapu Manisha and Shikha Garg”.

On Sunday, an Ethiopian Boeing 737-800MAX flight to Nairobi crashed, taking the lives of all the 157 people onboard, with 149 passengers and 8 flight crew.
