Fake currency kingpin Yunus Ansari arrested in Nepal

Kathmandu | The Nepal Police have arrested Dawood Ibrahim’s close associate Yunus Ansari following a tip from Indian intelligence.

It has been found that Yunus Ansari had been carrying out illegal activities for ISI in Nepal.

Along with Ansari, three Pakistani nationals were nabbed with around Rs 7.5 crore of fake Indian currency notes.

Six people, including three Pakistani nationals, were arrested from the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. They had arrived at Kathmandu from Qatar carrying counterfeit Indian notes of the denomination of 2000.

Yunus has been arrested for the fake Indian currency. He has been dealing with counterfeit Indian currency notes for more than two decades, was found running a racket of fake Indian currency notes from Nepal as a part of anti-Indian activities of ISI.
