According to Kangana, the crowd was asking her to apologize. For about an hour, Kangana was surrounded by the mob. Kangana has shared the video of the incident on her Instagram account.
Kangana was on her way to Chandigarh, where she was stopped by jamming at Ropar Toll Plaza, Chandigarh-Una Highway. Apart from the farmers, a large number of police were also present here. But the crowd was not allowing Kangana’s car to go ahead. They were demanding an apology from her.
Leaning about the gathering of farmers, the police rammed Kangana’s car into the village of Morinda, 200 meters before the toll. She was then brought on the highway through the village. However, now farmers are gathering in Mohali to protest.
The time when farmers gathered demanding apology, Kangana’s Security vehicle, was followed by two police vehicles. Despite this, the police could not stop the protest. They were constantly demanding that Kangana to get out of her car and apologize to Punjabis and especially to Sikhs and women.
In the shared video, Kangana is saying that I have just left Himachal, because my flight has been cancelled. As soon as I came here in Punjab, the mob stopped me. They are calling themselves farmers. They are using abusive language and threatening to kill.
There are so many police, yet I am not being allowed to leave. Many people are playing politics in my name. As a result of that, the entire crowd has surrounded my car. If there is no police here, then there is open lynching here.
In the video shared by Kangana, she is seen talking to the women present in the crowd. Kangana is telling her that – I did not say this for you. I said this to the women of Shaheen Bagh. Significantly, these women are upset with Kangana’s statement in which she had said that the women who came in the farmers’ movement were brought for 100 rupees.
After a lot of struggle, the mob let Kangana go. After this Kangana shared another video. In which she is saying that I want to tell my well-wishers that I have left from there. I am completely safe. Thanks to all those who helped me. Thanks also to Punjab Police and CRPF.
