New Delhi| The ongoing agitation against the new agricultural laws has completed one month. On 26 November, the farmers gathered at the Delhi border and since are adamant on repealing these laws. Meanwhile, farmers organizations are likely to have an important meeting today for talks with the government. They may also discuss Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to farmers on Friday.
Earlier on Friday, the letter of the government was discussed among the farmers. In the meeting, some farmers indicated to resume talks with the government to resolve the matter. According to the farmers’ organizations, they will meet again today, in which a decision can be taken on the central government’s invitation to negotiate.
2 lakh farmers from Rajasthan to march to Delhi
Thousands of farmers and RLP activists led by RLP convenor and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal will travel from Rajasthan to Delhi today in support of the movement. For this, farmers coming from different districts of Rajasthan will gather in Kotputli on the Delhi highway in Jaipur district. Here at 11:30 am, Beniwal will leave towards Shahjahanpur border. At present, additional police force has been deployed here.
30 thousand farmers will reach Delhi
The inflow of farmers from many states including Haryana and Punjab continues in Delhi. On December 26, 15 thousand farmers will leave for Delhi from Khanouri in Punjab and from Dabwali in Haryana on December 27.
