New Delhi | UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra on Sunday while responding on the FIR registered in the land fraud case by Haryana police said that its government’s plan to divert real people issues.
Speaking to media after the FIR was lodged Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s brother in law Robert Vadra said that there is an election environment. Prices of petrol and diesel are high. The decades-old issue is being re-organized to woo people from the real issues of the people. What’s new in this.

While former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda speaking on the FIR lodged against him said that the matter is under the jurisdiction of the law, whoever the culprit should be convicted. Earlier on Saturday the Haryana police registered an FIR against Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s brother-in-law Robert Vadra, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, DLF and Omkareshwar Properties in a alleged land scam in Gurugram.
Meanwhile Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter while responding to the lodged FIR said,”Our fight against corruption is on. Those found guilty will be punished, probe is underway by different agencies in different cases. This FIR filed by a brave citizen will also be probed.”
The lodged FIR is related to a land scam traced back in 2007 when Robert Vadra’s Skylite with a capital of Rs 1 lakh, bought 3.5 acres of land in Shikohpur village of Gururgram in 2008 from Omkareshwar Property in through a loan with 7.5 crores from DLF and later after changing the land use again sold it to DLF for Rs 58 crores.
