Fuel Price Hike: In Delhi, Diesel Costs More Than Petrol

According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country’s largest oil marketing company, the price of diesel in Delhi has increased from Rs 79.40 to Rs 79.88 per liter.

 

New Delhi| Oil companies raised diesel prices for the 18th consecutive day on Wednesday. With this increase, the price of diesel in the capital Delhi exceeded that of petrol. Petrol price in Delhi was equal to Rs 79.76 on Tuesday, but the price of diesel increased from Rs 79.40 to Rs 79.88 per liter.

Diesel has become costlier by Rs 10.88 since June 7. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country’s largest oil marketing company, the price of diesel in Delhi has increased from Rs 79.40 to Rs 79.88 per liter. Petrol and diesel prices in the country have been increasing continuously since June 7. In these 18 days, petrol in Delhi has become expensive by Rs 8.50 and diesel by Rs 10.48.
